A visual artist since he was in his teens, Wes works in a variety of media including acrylic painting, metal sculpture, pencil drawing, stencil art, LED light sculptures, video installations, and murals. He is also a musician who has recorded several songs and played with a variety of talented artists in St. Louis, Detroit, Atlanta, and the San Francisco Bay area.
His work has been shown in several cities across the United States. His work has been featured in multiple publications and shown in several galleries and venues in the bay area.
From Art school into the early 90’s most work was limited to acrylic and mixed media on canvas, pencil and ink, and tempera. A 20-year hiatus from art to raise a child and focus on career goals ended when he and his wife Jessica moved out to the SF Bay area to focus on art again.
Since opening the studio gallery in 2013 the medium expanded into many new forms and projects.
