I am hosting a 1/2 boot camp where you can learn how to program LED effects with Python on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. the class supplies everything you need, you get a kit with the Raspberry Pi and accessories and a 32×64 LED matrix.
I have been programming since I was 12, so lets just say forever! I started programming Raspberry Pi’s in 2012 and have worked with dozens of different types of PCBs (Raspberry Pi Zero, 3B+, Orange Pi, nVidia Jetson Nano, Arduino, Arduino nano, etc.) You will learn how to make several patterns and effects, and customize them to your specifics.
Here are some LED projects I have created.
Here are some photos
Python Raspberry Pi LED Matrix Programming Bootcamp
You will learn how to control LEDs to create multiple color effects. Perfect for creating LED sculptures, wearables, or anywhere you want to add some light to your life. You will learn basic Python programming and how to use LED libraries. How to control colors and patterns, and how to assemble all the components. (No soldering required). Learn how to control different length LED strands and matrix’s. 3 and ½ hour one day bootcamp.
$200 covers tuition and materials. (includes $60 Raspberry Pi Zero W and LED Matrix)
3.5 hour workshop to learn to program a 256 RGB Flexible LED Matrix using Python on your own Raspberry Pi Zero W. Perfect for creating wearables. The expandable system can be used with LED strings or multiple connected matrices. You will leave with a programmed functioning LED matrix and all the components to enable you to update your program at home with any standard USB keyboard and computer monitor.
